what is softwashing?

Everyone is used to hearing either pressure washing or power washing. Power/pressure washing uses high amounts of pressure, usually around 2,500-3,000 psi. There are instances where using pressure is necessary, such as cleaning brick or concrete, however there is a much more safe approach to cleaning your roof, exterior siding, and wood surfaces.

SOFTWASHING is the complete opposite of power washing. Softwashing allows us to use an application system much like a  lawn fertilization spraying system, where the pressure coming out is at a maximum of 60 psi. It quite literally applies our saniztizing agents at a very light mist. Our equipment is the main factor in making sure we do not damage shingle roofs or blast a hole in your exterior siding.

Soft wash in action

This is a picture of our softwash system in use on a house wash in Catonsville, Maryland. Notice, we are not close to the house while spraying, the pressure coming out the end of that nozzle is at no more then 60psi. This house cleaned up perfect!

DOES SOFTWASHING LAST LONGER?

The surfaces on your home and business properties aren’t just dirty, they’re infected. Typical pressure washing merely gets rid of the outer layer of this biomass and doesn’t fix the root of the problem, leaving your surface susceptible again. Organic growth on your surfaces is like shrubs–if you cut it back, it will come back healthier and stronger. The growth must be attacked at the source.

The softwash treatment solution is so effective that it lasts 4 to 6 times longer than pressure washing, which means your surfaces stay sanitized longer. Making it more sustainable for the environment and your wallet.
